So I figured I’d do an off topic post about something that really bugs me. I have 70 stumble friends and last time I went through and send them a post only 3 people gave my post a thumb up! When and of my stumble friends send me a website it not only gets stumbled, I comment on it in order to give them the greatest benefit possible.
The first purpose of this post is that I plan on seeing which of my stumble friends are still active and will stumble me and give me at least a thumb up, those that don’t will be deleted as my friend.

What is the date of the presidential election in 2008?
The 2008 presidential election is set to take place on November 4th, 2008. The democrat and republican primaries are set to start in December and after their conclusion we will know who will be the two major candidates for the countries highest position.
Who will win is anyones guess. American Election.com is currently polling it’s visitors and I would strongly encourage everyone to participate in the poll and view the results. EVERY VOTE COUNTS!

Americans will be waiting for the report from General Patraeus. Will he report the Surge strategy is working or failing? On the outside, Republicans who support the war will have an initial positive impact. On the otherhand where will the Democrat candidates fair?
John Edwards and Obama will most definitely be hurt by a successful Iraqi Surge strategy. Championing that US troops are failures only to have those statements proven false will only weaken the candidates position. If I were on any of the democrat campaigns I would have been advising them to be patient and wait for Patraeus’ report come September. We also have to remember that in no part of the world’s history has one side EVER GIVEN the other side its exit strategy. I suggest reading the Art of War.

I would love to know how Obama would deal with the Michael Vick situation. The NFL should BAN VICK for life, there is no question. Dog fighting is one of the worse things you can be apart of and to be the one who finances the operation he should be PUNISHED! Where are the candidates on this? Does Obama give Vick a pass?
