Dear Friend of Liberty,

Today is my birthday! I’ve already received a great gift in the form of a video from the Travis Irvine for Congress campaign. (Actually I’m not sure they intended it as a gift, but I’m pleased all the same.)

3,200 door hangers at Glenn Beck’s D.C. rally

box  libertarian party door hangers and stickersLP Headquarters staff and volunteers handed out 3,200 door hangers and about 1,000 Libertarian bumper stickers in three hours at Glenn Beck’s "Restoring Honor" rally in Washington, D.C. Hundreds of thousands of people attended this rally, many of whom were Tea Party activists.

Rebecca Sink-Burris, Indiana Libertarian US Senate Candidate, Announces Date and Location of First Debate with Her Opponents

Rebecca Sink-Burris, the Indiana Libertarian candidate for US Senate, has announced that the first of three debates between the candidates is set for October 11th at IUPUI (Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis).  She will be debating her big government Republican and Democratic opponents.

Fort Wayne has been selected as the location of the second debate.

The debates are organized and managed by the Indiana Debate Commission.

Zionsville, Indiana High School Young Libertarians Volunteer for Hauptmann Campaign

Last Thursday, seven student members of the Young Libertarians of Zionsville, Indiana High School volunteered with the Joe Hauptmann for Indiana State Representative District 87 campaign.

Joe Hauptmann is a physics teacher at Zionsville High School.  He is also a former Chair of the Libertarian Party of Indiana. 

In April, his talk before the Libertarian Party of Indiana state convention received a standing ovation.
