Yesterday Barack led a town hall meeting on economic security for America’s women in Fairfax, Virginia. In conjunction with the event, the campaign rolled out a report on the impact the Obama economic plan would have on American women. (Watch the speech here.) Also, this week Michelle Obama talked with women in Pontiac, Michigan and Kansas City, Missouri about women’s economic security. (Check out local blog coverage of the sessions here and here.)
This afternoon at 2 PM Eastern/1 PM Central, the Obama for America blog will feature a dialogue on Barack’s economic plan with particular emphasis on economic security for women. Campaign Deputy National Policy Director Danielle Gray, Domestic Policy Director Neera Tanden, and Economic Policy Advisor Brian Deese will field questions for approximately 45 minutes in the comments section below.
***Leave your questions in the comments section below.***
[UPDATE: The chat is now closed. Thanks for all of your questions, and thanks to Danielle, Neera, and Brian for participating. We’ll have another policy chat on the blog soon.]
