IndyStar: Libertarians work on state slate, get look at presidential pack

About 70 members of the small political party gathered to help get
Libertarians ready for the fall election. They nominated two statewide
candidates for the November ballot.

But when the Libertarians held debates Saturday among presidential hopefuls, the real hopefuls were on hand.

"Stay
with us and help build the party," said George Phillies, a 59-year-old
physics professor from Massachusetts. "Show the American people that
our approach is indeed better than that of our crazy opponents."
