The TRUTH… followed by impeachable lies

If ever there was evidence that politically motivated lies led us into Iraq – resulting in the deaths of more than 3,700 U.S. troops and an estimated million Iraqis killed or wounded – take a look at what then-Defense Secretary Dick Cheney said in 1994 about the potential for a “quagmire” if the U.S. invaded Iraq and toppled Saddam Hussein.
Was Cheney telling the truth then? Or has he lied since then for politically motivated reasons to deceive most members of Congress, the citizens of the United States, the United Nations, and the world community?
