Jan. 4: I’m here in the Des Moines headquarters office manning the phones and helping the “tear down” of the office…there is a big green dumpster in front of the office, and several staffers are here, with more on the way. There are Biden yard signs, bumper stickers, precinct lists and tons of paper everywhere…along with cardboard boxes and a host of building facilities and delivery men coming and going…and, of course, the new mandatory office equipment, the shredder!
Nothing of any importance to report right now. Am fielding calls from the media and supporters. How ironic; I thought I’d be celebrating today.
