Francis Bok’s Speech
August 11, 2007
Francis Bok, escaped Sudanese slave is up next. We have a YouTube speech of his up earlier - his story is incredibly powerful:

Later, Senator Brownback took the stage to talk about the vote, noticed Mr. Bok sitting at the table, and began an impassioned speech about the scourge of radical Islamic governments in Iraq and the plight of Sudanese refugees in the South and in the West (Darfur). As he talks about this, it is clear that this is another issue that he is intimately familiar with and cares deeply about on a personal level.
Senator Brownback was followed by an Iowa State Senator, and then by his friend Chuck Hurley, shown here with the Senator and Andres Gomez.
